THE FIFTH HEAD OF BRAHMA

THE FIFTH HEAD OF BRAHMA

Often sucked into reading what people term as mythology, i read about this fascinating story of a fifth head of Brahma ( creator ).

Human race has been giving form to the formless since ages, its ironical that something like ego which only resides in human beings has not been given its due share. We eat, preach, dream, repeat and still havent built temples for it. Ego resides in the darkest of our recesses and still colors our universe with thousands of hues against nothingness. Without Ego, epics like Mahabharat and Iliad would never have been written. The greatest epics in human history couldn't been such a treat without the existence of ego.

We have come across personalities ravaging civilisations, killing thousands and destroying some of the best works of art and literature and we have also come across those masquerading philanthropists  trying to get their names in the books. The more the crystalised, bigger the sack of ego. The more diffused the more content.

In my journey, I come across and also live by an imagined structure created by us, for us and of us. Over centuries such imagined structures however evil or righteous are always fueled by ego. Be it Hammurabi, Nazism, Caste system, Capitalism, equality etc etc.

Gender is a big part of that imagined structure and germination of such imagined structures pivots to ego. Ego has such a huge everchanging spectrum that the imagined structures of the past are bound to be crushed to give space to new imagined structures of the future.

The rise of LGBT is part of that imagined structure. Contrary to elevating ourselves from the trudges of gender, we have achieved in creating one more. They have their own festival, their own pubs, their own identity, their own flag and maybe tomorrow their own code. A perfect recipe for a new age religion. And why leave the new age messiah, the Vegans. Most of them i met claim that the future belongs to them. Again nothing bad about them but everything pivots to creating one’s own different identity against the existing structures. It feels good to be different and romanticize the new age of capitalism. Yes they all are virtuous, righteous and will show you the light at the end of the tunnel.

Iam completely for these new structures, nothing bad as we need new structures to color our coming future. Then why have we traumatised and demonised ego which has fueled and given the human race so much. We have had so many rivers like islam, budhism, christianity, hinduism etc etc invoking us to take a dip and renounce the I but we choosen not to. Its clear, we might want to desist the stench of corruption which  ensues from them now. We have been successful in creating newer offshoots to suit our needs and thats very important for wheels of creation and destruction to rotate.

They say that love and ego cannot co-exist, iam no saint every ounce of me loves when i render The Fifth head of Brahma - EGO.

Two Idiots and Bikes

With high aspirations of visiting tawang and reaching shilong for a concert of Mr. Big in arunachal pradesh we packed up our bags and ended up totaly in a land quit opposite. The title "Two idiots on bikes" is flawlessly perfect and in due course of this blog ill prove it to you ( and no the title has not been inspired by some hindi movie) . By the way the second idiot here is Mr. Ghosh, he a successful entrepreneur and a rockstar whose band goes by the name of outro, he runs a very successful music and dance school with branches all over delhi, alongside he has got his recording studio and has an appetite to manage a event company. After this trip ghosh was filled up with a notion of becoming a adventure tour operator. Over all he is a great guy with electrifying temperament. ...

54 hrs 3600 mts above sea level 1070 km covered

54 hrs 3600 mts above sea level 1070 km It was friday evening when the urge for a roadtrip reached its maximum limit inside me i couldnt bear this overabundance of emotions. Like always guru was game for it, he only had one issue he had to reach office by 10 on monday morning. With valley of flowers as our final destination ( which got changed to joshimath just 30 km before ) and with tormenting urge to just leave delhi we started from delhi at 1 am on friday night (technically saturday). We did the whole trip and as usual it was a very satisfying trip with a lot of incidents happening one after the other, how we reached and how we came back is a different story all together but i would rather like to share the most adventures and dangerous hrs of my life with you. We had to reach our final destination of joshimath by sat evening and there we were about 30 to 40 km from it when the road was blocked by the locals over some dispute. We had stopped at a pastoral outlook when i noticed the...

Avataar -- 3D --

I guess the hype and hoopla created for the movie is quiet well deserving specially for an audience who is experiencing 3d cinema for the first time, just like me. So today i went with the herd and like some of them came back and decided to write a blog bout it. But i guess something somewhere remained unfulfilled from what i had expected. I think a great movie is coined great when all the different elements come together and all of them are a masterpiece in themselves. James Cameroon ... hats off to this guy, there's no doubt that he is amongst the league of best directors of our times. Guys at Weta as usual were able to create new benchmarks in the world of computer graphics. They put me to shame when i say ' ohh .. 3d i know 3d too'. Im a person who whenever gets time, likes to watch trailers whether they are of upcoming cg movies or upcoming game trailers or even personal cg...
